As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will work independently or as part of a team to develop and create technical solutions to Mechanical Engineering projects. You will work closely with your colleagues as part of a project team, give professional instructions, and be open to ideas and suggestions from other team members. You will be supervised by a senior mechanical engineer as you work at our office in Herentals. You’ll also be able to work at our clients’ premises and demonstrate your expertise. Being a junior engineer at VIRO is about gaining knowledge, so you can grow to become a specialist or move into another coordinating role.

What do we ask of you?

  • Opleiding - Careers (EN) You have completed a university degree or higher professional education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
  • VIRO Iconen vacature 3 02 - Careers (EN) Up to 3 years of relevant work experience in the field
  • VIRO Iconen vacature 3 06 - Careers (EN) Knowledge of 3D CAD software (including NX, Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, or Inventor)

  • Taal - Careers (EN) A good command of spoken and written Dutch and English – good knowledge of German would be an asset
