The new head office of VIRO Germany is host to a new addition: a 32-metre high promotional pylon, to ensure that VIRO is highly visible from afar. The key details at a glance:
Just like VIRO's logo, the two promotional signs were arranged to form a ‘V’ shape. As a bonus, they can be seen from both directions of the A33 motorway. The background of the panels is black, meaning that in the dark only the illuminated white letters and blue VIRO logo are visible. The full weight of the promotional pylon rests on the two concrete tubes connected to form a mast. To ensure optimal lighting and visibility in the dark, the cabling for the power supply of the panels has been incorporated into the tubes. The pylon's stability is guaranteed by four-metre deep concrete foundations that amount to almost 400 cubic metres.
The mast was delivered with the help of two special transport vehicles. The construction of the panel in the typical VIRO V shape was done in advance on the ground. With the help of a truck crane and mobile jack-up rig, the mast and the V-shaped panels were united.
